The Château d’Agel is nestled at the foot of the Montagne Noire, in the historical village of Agel.
In the historic center stands a superb medieval castle, the oldest part of which dates from the 12th century. The castle belongs to the Ecal-Besse Family since 200 hundred years.
In the 1960s, the Ecal-Besse family undertook the restoration of the chateau and gardens and sold the vineyard.
In 2003 wine enthusiasts looking for a vineyard with a qualitative soils with high potential for quality wines bought the vineyards estate.
Because of its origins, Château d’Agel has been able to maintain its human scale. Respect, transparency, customer satisfaction and teamwork are among the values that have shaped our philosophy.
Respect means taking into account not only our own interests, but also the interests of our employees, customers, suppliers and partners. We put people at the heart of our exchanges, because we are convinced that it is first and foremost the quality of the relationship that makes collaboration effective.
Transparency defines the way we work every day. How can our customers and partners work with us or consume our wines if they do not trust us? How can we create a climate of trust without transparency? Transparency is an obligation for us, a central element of our relationship with each of our stakeholders.
The satisfaction of our customers is our top priority. To meet their needs and expectations, we work to develop a relationship based on trust. Trust in our ability to keep our word and to deliver on our commitments.
We encourage our customers to give us feedback and integrate this whenever possible into our daily work..
At Château d’Agel, we are convinced that collective intelligence and teamwork are essential to meet the challenges and achieve our ambitions. On a daily basis, each employee takes part in the smooth running of the company.
Initiatives are encouraged and suggestions are heard with the aim of continuously learning and improving our services. Our deepest desire is to always move forward while remaining faithful to our roots.
