At Château d’Agel, nestled at the foot of the Montagne Noire, is the village of Agel.In the historic center stands a superb medieval castle, the oldest part of which dates from the 12th century. to the Ecal family and remains in the family for 200 years. In the 1960s, the Ecal-Besse family undertook the restoration of the chateau and gardens and sold the vineyard to Pierre Fil, who for years worked to expand the estate. It was in 2003 that wine enthusiasts looking for a vineyard with a qualitative territory with high potential bought the estate.
Respect, transparency, customer satisfaction and teamwork are some of the values that have forged our philosophy..
Respect means taking into account not only our interests, but also the interests of our employees, customers, suppliers and partners. Placing people at the heart of our exchanges because we are convinced that it is first and foremost the quality of the relationship that allows the effectiveness of the collaboration.
Transparency defines ourway of working on a daily basis. How could our customers and partners work with us or consume our wines if they are not confident? How could we establish a climate of trust without transparency? Transparency is an obligation for us, a central element of the relationships we have with each of our stakeholders.
We place top priority on the satisfaction of all of our customers. To meet their needs and expectations, we work to develop a relationship based on trust. Confidence in keeping our word and in our ability to keep our commitments.
At Château d’Agel, we are convinced that collective intelligence and teamwork are essential to meet the challenges and achieve our ambitions. On a daily basis, each employee takes part in the smooth running of the company. Initiatives are encouraged and suggestions heard with the aim of continuously improving our services.
Our deep desire is to always move forward while remaining faithful to our roots.
